Job summary

ARCO is seeking a motivated Superintendent Intern to learn on the job, assist on various job sites, and support Superintendents in coordinating activities across projects in multiple industries. This paid internship offers hands-on experience with real responsibilities in a dynamic design-build environment.

You will learn to develop schedules, communicate with subcontractors, and help drive projects from start to finish while contributing to ARCO’s ongoing success and culture.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree programs.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing or walking for long periods, uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Superintendents on jobsites across diverse industries such as commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multi-family, entertainment, and more.
• Learn on the job by creating schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and running a project smoothly from start to finish.
• Assist in progressing projects through all stages and contribute to ARCO’s success by performing critical tasks in every stage of the project life cycle.

Education

Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree

GPA 3.0/4.0
