Job summary

ARCO Design/Build is seeking a Superintendent Intern/Co-op to gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of construction projects, working with seasoned field leaders. You’ll engage in field operations, safety activities, scheduling, quality control, and coordination with subcontractors to help projects stay on track.

The program emphasizes training, mentorship, and collaboration within a fast-growing, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, Construction Management, Building Science, or Construction Engineering undergraduate or graduate program (other related engineering majors will be considered)
• Driver's License
• Excellent verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethics
• Previous Co-op or intern experience in construction preferred, but not required
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of a project while learning from experienced professionals
• Assist with field operations and daily site activities from mobilization to completion
• Participate in safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and progress documentation
• Attend subcontractor coordination meetings and project planning discussions
