Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join the on-site HITT Futures Program. This role is designed for graduates, Veterans, and those passionate about advancing in construction leadership, with a structured, one-year development plan and mentorship.

The program focuses on hands-on learning, professional development, and a clear path to promotion as an assistant-level project manager or superintendent across diverse projects nation-wide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Military experience or four-year degree from an accredited university within Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business strongly preferred.
• Previous experience on commercial job sites strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commit to being fully onsite for the duration of the 12-month training program to shadow, learn, and gain hands-on experience with day-to-day operations of the assigned project(s).
• Demonstrate understanding of training topics throughout each phase of the first year, with performance reviews on a 4-month cadence.
• Follow all directions, task assignments, and coaching offered by the Futures Program Sponsor.
