Job summary

SteerBridge is seeking a Construction Manager – Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to provide onsite construction management for VA healthcare facility upgrades in Salem, VA. You will serve as the contractor's point of contact with the COR and ensure compliance with VA standards and project specs while minimizing disruption to patient care.

The role requires 3+ years of construction management experience or a Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering/Architecture, plus OSHA and VA training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years construction experience substitute.
• Experience with construction management, QA, safety, scheduling, cost and change management.
• Ability to read construction documents and communicate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as COR point of contact for assigned projects.
• Provide onsite construction management and admin oversight across project phases.
• Coordinate submittals and RFIs, review for VA compliance.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and change orders.
• Conduct field inspections and assist with as‑built drawings and commissioning.
