Job summary

SteerBridge is seeking a Construction Manager – Construction Administrator (CM-CA) for on-site work at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate with COR, review submittals, RFIs, schedules, and ensure compliance with VA standards while minimizing disruption to patient care.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in CM/Engineering/Architecture or 3 years related experience, plus ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of directly related construction experience.
• Experience in construction management with knowledge of QA, safety, schedule, cost and change/information management.
• Experience presenting construction management capability with similar projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Contractor’s point of contact with the COR for assigned projects.
• Provide construction management and admin oversight during planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate submittal review, RFI tracking, and schedule monitoring.
• Conduct daily field inspections and verify work against drawings and specs; identify deficiencies.
• Monitor project budgets and change orders; support claims analysis and resolutions.
