Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage project in Kansas (on-site). As the owner's on-site representative, you will supervise EPC contractors, enforce safety and quality, and ensure construction activities meet schedule and budget requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with DEQ/AHJ on environmental concerns, leading kickoff and progress meetings, and managing on-site contract staff.

Qualifications

• 5 years of onsite utility-scale solar, battery storage, and/or substation construction management.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Procore knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and be onsite 5 days a week.
• FAA 107 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC contractors and ensure safety and quality on site.
• Manage schedule, budget, and change orders per the PEP.
• Coordinate with landowners, DEQ/AHJ on environmental concerns.
• Lead daily/weekly site meetings and report to PM.
• Review invoices and verify work completion; maintain project docs in Procore.
