Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking an on-site Project Manager for utility-scale solar and BESS site construction. You will collaborate with safety teams, coordinate with 3rd party EPCs, and oversee execution plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of projects.

You will manage on-site contract staff, review invoices, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Strong QA/QC focus, environmental considerations, and proactive risk management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing utility-scale solar construction projects is preferred.
• Strong ability to lead on-site teams and coordinate with EPC contractors.
• Familiarity with QA/QC plans, safety programs, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with safety to maintain highest safety goals.
• Manage on-site contractor personnel and subcontracts, including change orders and documentation.
• Oversee project execution plan, schedule development, and kickoff meetings.
• Monitor progress, risks, and punch lists; ensure timely sign-off of milestones.
• Coordinate with 3rd party EPCs, DEQ/AHJ, and internal teams to minimize environmental and safety impacts.
