Job summary

AES Corporation seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee on-site utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. You will manage EPCs, contract administration, safety, QA/QC, and stakeholder communications to ensure schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

The role requires extensive field leadership, travel to project sites, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver best-in-class assets while maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of onsite utility-scale solar, battery storage, and/or substation construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of solar construction management processes, means and methods.
• OSHA 30 certification and ability to travel to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety and QA/QC to meet company standards.
• Manage contracts (prime and subcontracts) and change orders; document variances.
• Coordinate with EPCs, DEQ, AHJ and landowners to resolve issues and maintain schedule.
