Job summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a Site Superintendent / SSHO to lead on-site construction operations and diligently manage safety programs across the DMV region. The role combines site supervision with safety leadership, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and client requirements.

The candidate will monitor subcontractors, maintain documentation, and coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve issues affecting schedule, cost, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Safety, Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
• Required Certifications: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid and CPR.
• Experience reflects 7–10 years in construction with site supervision responsibilities.
• Knowledge of federal contracting practices, EM 385-1-1, OSHA 1910/1926, and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide preconstruction input, project analysis, and procurement planning.
• Plan and supervise daily construction activities and site logistics.
• Develop schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate client interactions.
• Maintain daily field reports covering labor, equipment, and safety.
• Lead safety inspections, AHAs, and toolbox talks.
