Job summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a Site Superintendent / SSHO to lead on-site construction operations across the DMV region, including Pax River. You will ensure work aligns with plans, budget, and safety requirements, and coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years in construction supervision, OSHA 30-hour training, and a strong safety program mindset. This is an onsite role with extended hours as needed and a travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, safety, engineering, or related field.
• Current OSHA 30-hour training; valid First Aid and CPR.
• 7–10 years of progressive construction supervision/management experience.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA requirements and safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site leadership and manage construction operations per contract documents.
• Oversee safety programs, incident investigations, and AHAs prior to work.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, subcontractors, and clients; maintain records.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Safety, Engineering, or related field

OSHA 30-hour training
