Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking a Site Superintendent / Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) to lead on-site construction operations, oversee safety programs, and coordinate with clients across the DMV region including Pax River, Maryland. The role requires 7–10 years of supervision, OSHA 30, and First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities include scheduling, subcontractor oversight, safety inspections, AHAs, and ensuring EM 385-1-1 and OSHA compliance. This onsite position offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
Current OSHA 30-hour training; valid First Aid and CPR
7–10 years of construction experience with site supervision/CM responsibilities
Knowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA 1910/1926 requirements
Preferred CCM, CSP, ASP, COSS, OHST certifications

Responsibilities

Provide pre-bid input and planning for constructability and site utilization
Plan, coordinate and supervise daily construction activities and subcontractors
Develop and manage project schedules and look-ahead plans; identify risks
Lead safety program administration and conduct AHAs, toolbox talks
Coordinate with Project Manager and client representatives on status and requirements
Ensure closeout, inspections, and proper documentation
