Job summary

Next 150 Construction, a fully owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, seeks a Lead Superintendent to oversee a trade or section on a major project. The role focuses on safety, scheduling, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction with that trade in its entirety.

Position is onsite in New Florence, MO daily. Responsibilities include coordinating trade contractors, maintaining schedules, managing permits, and enforcing safety and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7–10 years experience on $15M+ commercial/industrial sites in a superintendent role.
• Experience leading components and/or whole projects.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors to meet project schedule.
• Develops, documents, and communicates field changes in the work plan.
• Maintains understanding of contract documents to anticipate problems.
• Obtains necessary permits for construction activities.
• Verifies safety compliance and enforces quality control policies in field.
• Leads contractor meetings and maintains daily reports with Procore.
• Creates and updates project schedule and contingency plans.
• Manages jobsite logistics and communicates schedule changes to team.
• Tracks production and costs; oversees quality plan implementation.
• Trains direct reports and ensures alignment with company standards.
