Job summary

Gilbane Building is looking for a General Superintendent in New Florence, Missouri to manage field operations for projects valued at up to $100 million. This role involves leading the coordination of contractors, ensuring high-quality work, and adhering to project schedules.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with 10–15 years of experience in leading large-scale commercial projects. We offer extensive training opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience on $30–$100 million commercial/industrial construction projects.
• Must have experience supervising a project team.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage all field operations on a project up to $100M.
• Direct day‑to‑day coordination of trade contractors.
• Develop and communicate work plans for changes in the field.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Tools

OSHA 30-hour certification
