Job summary

Essex Property Trust is seeking a Community Relations Representative in Sunnyvale, CA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to residents, managing communications via CRM, and coordinating move-in/move-out activities with professional on-site support.

You will work as part of the Community Management Team, communicating in person and via virtual channels as needed, while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents.
• Manage communications via the CRM system.
• Facilitate move-in/move-out processes and paperwork.
• Address resident questions in-person and virtually.
• Respond to portfolio tasks and calls within required response times.
• Maintain knowledge of the community portfolio and operations.
• Support community management and resident satisfaction targets.
• Participate in occasional resident events.
