Essex is seeking a Community Relations Representative in San Diego to deliver exceptional service to residents in person. You will handle move-ins/outs, respond to inquiries, and support community management operations with professional communication, both on-site and as needed via virtual channels.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a centralized hub and collaborate with the Community Management Team to meet satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills necessary.
• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents.
• Manage communications via the CRM system.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes and paperwork.
• Answer resident questions promptly, in person or virtually when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of community operations and policies.
• Assist with resident events and maintain confidentiality.
