Job summary

Essex in Los Angeles seeks a Community Relations Representative to deliver an exceptional resident experience throughout the customer life cycle. You will be the primary in-person contact for residents, managing communications via CRM and guiding smooth move-ins/move-outs, while supporting operations with high-quality service.

Work primarily in person at an Essex office, with some virtual communication when needed. Five-day on-site schedule with potential travel within the portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents.
• Manage communications and inquiries via the CRM system.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes and related paperwork.
• Provide excellent resident service and address questions promptly.
• Support community operations and meet customer satisfaction targets.
• Occasionally assist with resident events and portfolio tasks.
