Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Temporary Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, budgeting, maintenance, and risk controls while ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

The role requires on-site leadership, staffing oversight, and the ability to develop operating budgets and marketing plans. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree or CAM/ARM certification is preferred,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts; monitor deposits and rent collections.
• Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely reporting.
• Head emergency team for the property and manage on-call responses.
• Manage customer service, resident complaints, and lease signings.
