Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise personnel, leasing, maintenance, and financials, ensuring policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

As an on-site leader, you will implement marketing plans, manage budgets, supervise staff, and respond to emergencies. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4 years in housing industry or equivalent.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to operate on-site software; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of operations for a housing community including personnel, leasing, maintenance, and finance.
• Supervise on-site staff; ensure adherence to Asset Living policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop budgets, monitor rent collections, and manage vendor invoices.
• Show, lease, and move in residents; address resident complaints and retention programs.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
