Job summary

Asset Living in Duluth, GA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager.

You will manage rent postings, receivables, evictions, and budget performance while supervising onsite staff, leasing, maintenance, and compliance with Fair Housing laws.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, reliable reporting, and dedication to resident satisfaction within a growing asset portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Manage rent postings, receivables, and delinquency to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration & risk in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
