Job summary

Asset Living is a fast-growing company serving communities nationwide. The Assistant Community Manager role oversees daily operations and financial functions of the housing community, including delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.

You will manage operations, personnel, leasing, maintenance, and risk management in the Community Manager's absence, onsite. The position requires supervising staff, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; BA preferred.
• Ability to use onsite software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income from applicants, residents, and non-residents accurately and promptly.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt; send late notices and coordinate evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting; maintain organized records.
• Walk units and post move-out charges, statements, and security deposits refunds.
• Supervise onsite staff, train, coach, and develop the team; uphold company policies.
