Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administration while ensuring compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes delinquency management, budget adherence, and accurate record-keeping. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for successful in-person leadership on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Posting payments and income accurately from applicants and residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily accounts receivable.
• Monitoring bad debt and sending late notices and evictions as needed.
• Aiding in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Leasing, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
