Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily housing operations under the Community Manager. You will manage staff, ensure timely rent posting and collection, and support budgeting and financial reporting to optimize cash flow.

The role requires knowledge of onsite software, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Strong leasing, customer service, and leadership capabilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under the supervision of the Community Manager and supervise onsite staff.
• Manage accounts receivable, rent postings, and delinquency handling to maintain cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and maintaining NOI targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; handle leasing activities and resident relations.
• Coordinate marketing and leasing strategies per annual plan.
