Job summary

Asset Living, based in Columbus, OH, seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision. You will oversee rent collection, delinquency management, and all aspects of property operations to optimize cash flow and compliance.

The role focuses on supervising staff, posting charges, closing monthly statements, and maintaining records while ensuring adherence to fair housing guidelines and company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor delinquency and follow up on late notices and evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closings and reporting; maintain organized records.
