Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management, ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

As the onsite leader, you will supervise staff, post payments, reconcile receivables, monitor bad debt, and help the property meet

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years of housing industry experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under the supervision of the Community Manager.
• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt and evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Supervise staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
