Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Westerville, OH. You will oversee day-to-day operations under the Community Manager, handle rent collection, and supervise staff to ensure policy compliance and safety.

This role supports leasing, maintenance, and financial operations while focusing on resident satisfaction and retention. You will work with the property team to meet budgeted revenues and maintain records, with opportunities for growth within Asset Living’s multi-market

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under supervision of Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist in leasing, maintenance, and financial administration; supervise end-of-month closing procedures.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and handle complaints and requests.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and marketing strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files for compliance.
