Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee on-site operations at a housing community. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and financial administration to ensure compliance with policies.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, plus housing industry experience; CAM/ARM is a plus; strong knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA; proficiency with on-site software; and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and daily onsite staff supervision.
• Develop weekly office and maintenance staff schedules and assignments.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Monitor budgets, deposits, rent collections, and vendor invoices; ensure timely reporting.
• Lead emergency team on-property and manage resident relations and service requests.
• Develop leasing plans and resident retention programs; oversee marketing and leasing activities.
• Oversee administrative and maintenance reporting and ensure timely completion of tasks.
