Job summary

Greystar in the Greater St. Louis, MO area is seeking an on-site role to support the Community Manager in financial and operational tasks.

You will handle rent collection, invoicing, bank deposits, and reporting while using Yardi/OneSite to maintain accurate financial records. The role requires 1-3 years in residence life or property management, solid communication, and the ability to manage daily operations and directives from the community manager.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees, and other payments; posts daily transactions and reconciles bank accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and records transactions accurately.
• Reviews resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid balances and enforces collections.
• Reviews invoices from vendors and coordinates payments with accounting and owners.
• Assists with evictions following notice requirements and represents the community as needed in court.
• Processes move-outs by reviewing leases and applicable fees, and documents dispositions.
• Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and effectively.
• Acts as on-site supervisor when the community manager is absent.
• Supports leasing and marketing efforts by greeting prospects and guiding them through applications.
