Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will focus on delinquency prevention, rent collection, and cash flow optimization, while ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

As onsite leader, you’ll supervise staff, manage budgeting, leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks, and help achieve revenue goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for posting all payments and income received from all applicants, current residents, and non-current residents accurately, timely, and efficiently.
• Responsible for processing and reconciling daily all account receivables; monitor and follow up on bad debt and evictions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records; audit resident files to ensure accurate records; assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required; screen, hire, train, coach, and develop onsite staff; promote harmony and quality performance.
• Ensure leasing techniques are effective and implement marketing plans; deal with resident complaints and retention programs.
• Plan for and supervise property operations including maintenance, safety and compliance with policies.
