Job summary

Greystar seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of a 650-unit community in California. The role involves rent processing, banking, reporting, and coordinating maintenance and vendor relations.

Responsibilities include managing the property management system (Yardi/OneSite), addressing resident queries, handling delinquencies, and assisting leasing efforts. California-specific move-in file reviews apply.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum of property management experience.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent, fees, and other payments; post and reconcile bank deposits and prepare financial reports.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite and update the system with required data.
• Review resident balances; pursue delinquencies and enforce leases to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices; code charges and liaise between vendors, accounting, and owners.
