Job summary

Greystar seeks an on-site Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include rent collection, banking, vendor invoices, and reporting using property management software.

The role requires 1–3 years in property management, knowledge of lease terms, and strong communication, with California-specific and eviction procedures as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business management, communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years minimum in residence life or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments; prepares daily deposits and bank reconciliations.
• Operates property management software and maintains data integrity.
• Reviews resident files to identify unpaid or late balances and enforces lease terms.
• Reviews vendor invoices and codes charges; coordinates with owners and accounting.
• Assists in evictions following notice requirements and represents the community in court.
