Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the on-site leadership in financial and operational duties for a residential community in Cypress, TX. The role involves rent collection, financial reporting, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in property management, strong communication, and a good grasp of lease enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments, prepares daily bank deposits and reconciles accounts.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and ensures data integrity.
• Reviews resident files to determine unpaid/late fees and communicates with residents.
• Reviews and submits invoices for payment, codes charges, and coordinates with vendors and owners.
• Handles evictions per company procedures and represents the community in court when required.
