Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Accountant/Managerial support role to oversee and manage financial operations at a garden-style community. The position involves daily rent collection, banking, vendor payments, and maintaining financial records using Yardi and OneSite.

Responsibilities include ensuring lease compliance, coordinating with the community manager, and supporting leasing activities while promoting resident satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees, and other payments and processes daily bank deposits and reconciliations.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite) correctly and maintains data integrity.
• Reviews resident files, communicates with residents about balances, and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices, codes charges, and coordinates with accounting and owners.
• Assists in evictions following notice requirements and represents the community in court as needed.
• Handles move-outs, deposits, and lease terminations per policy and legal requirements.
• Supports leasing and marketing by greeting prospects, showing units, and processing applications.
