Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking an on-site Community Accountant to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial operations for the property. You will handle rent collection, close-out, bank deposits, and monthly reporting using Yardi/OneSite.

You will verify invoices, process payments, reconcile accounts, and help ensure compliance with lease terms. This role requires accuracy, team collaboration, and excellent communication with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum in residence life or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and enforcement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Collect rent, process payments, prepare deposits and financial reports.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) and ensure data integrity.
• Review resident files for delinquencies and enforce leases to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices and coordinate between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Follow eviction procedures and represent the community in court as needed.
• Manage move-outs, deposits, and lease terminations per policy.
• Assist leasing and marketing by showing apartments and helping applicants.
