Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC is seeking a System Engineer to support the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role provides technical authority for assigned plant systems and coordinates configuration management programs.

The position is fully onsite in Oak Ridge with a 4/10 schedule, requiring a U.S. citizen and DOE clearance eligibility. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET-accredited) and 10+ years of direct experience in relevant fields.

Qualifications

ABET accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years direct experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance; US workers only.

Responsibilities

Coordinate configuration management activities for the assigned system(s).
Assess system health and performance and provide technical accountability for operability and maintenance.
Prepare configuration control/design change packages for tasks.
Evaluate impact of proposed changes to safety bases and facilities.
Troubleshoot and drive improvement activities across disciplines.
Apply system and equipment expertise to resolve issues in collaboration with other teams.
