Job summary

Boston Government Services seeks a Project Engineer to support the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. The role focuses on planning, design and execution of machine tools and infrastructure upgrades.

The position requires a ABET-accredited engineering degree and 10+ years of direct project engineering experience, U.S. citizenship, and DOE Q security clearance eligibility. It is an onsite, 4/10 schedule at Y-12 with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct project engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship and eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide project engineering support for planning, design and implementation of new tools or infrastructure upgrades.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams on high-profile plant initiatives with technical guidance.
• Apply ASME Nuclear QA (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
• Plan and direct engineering activities on projects with budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Project Management and Construction teams.
• Monitor progress and take corrective action to stay on schedule.
