Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) is seeking a Cognizant System Engineer/Technical Authority for the Y12 project. The role requires coordinating configuration management, assessing system health and performance, and providing technical responsibility for plant operability and maintenance at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN.

The successful candidate will have an ABET-accredited engineering degree (Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical) and 10+ years of direct experience, U.S.

Qualifications

ABET accredited Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Successful drug screening.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Responsibilities

Coordinate configuration management activities for the assigned system(s).
Assess system health and performance; provide technical responsibility for operability and maintenance.
Prepare configuration control/design change packages; evaluate impact of changes on safety bases.
Perform troubleshooting and improvement activities; apply expertise to resolve issues with other disciplines.
