Job summary

Boston Government Services (BGS) is seeking a System Engineer-Technical Authority to support the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This fully onsite role requires a U.S.

citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance. You will coordinate configuration management, assess system health and performance, and take technical responsibility for plant system operability and maintenance, performing troubleshooting and design-change evaluations with

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Physical Science from an ABET-accredited program in the United States.
2+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinates configuration management activities for assigned systems.
Assesses system health and performance; provides technical responsibility for plant system operability and maintenance.
Performs troubleshooting and improvement activities; evaluates design changes and safety bases.
Applies system and equipment expertise to resolve issues with related disciplines.
Includes system walkdowns, calibration & equipment tests, spare parts evaluations, and system turnover.

Education
