Job summary

WSP is seeking a Civil Concrete Construction Coordinator to oversee onsite civil and concrete construction activities for a large mining EPCM project within our Earth & Environment team. The role is full-time and onsite, with preference for candidates in Nevada, Utah, Alaska, or near major mining sites.

The successful candidate will deliver safe, efficient field execution of civil, earthworks and concrete scopes, coordinating with engineering, procurement and project controls to meet project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering/construction management.
• 10+ years in heavy civil construction, concrete pours, or mining infrastructure.
• Hands-on management in active mining with multiple vendors.
• Commitment to safety; MSHA 48B required.
• Experience linking plans/specs to scope, schedule and cost.
• Strong communication, problem solving and decision-making; proficient in MS Office.
• EPCM or Mine Owner experience in a similar role for 2+ years.
• Ability to work on uneven sites, climb ladders, and operate in active environments.
• Must pass drug test, background check, and have clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coordination for civil, earthworks and large concrete elements.
• Manage contractors and field teams; oversee safety, cost, schedule and quality.
• Interface between contractors, engineering, procurement and project controls.
• Coordinate with design engineers and geotechnical teams on constructability.
• Drive a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance on site.
• Support procurement and field implementation of key materials and systems.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and ethical use of company resources.
