Job summary

Republic Finance is offering a Branch Operations Intern program for current college juniors and seniors pursuing Finance or Business. The internship is 100% onsite and provides hands-on exposure to loan origination, processing, closings and fundings along with regulatory training and leadership development.

The program aims to transition interns to full-time roles post graduation, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour and opportunities across various departments within Republic Finance.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including allocating files for doc prep; auditing closed files; prep files ready to fund.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President learning responsibilities at their levels to understand the promotional path.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are desired and overview of benefits during the program.
