Job summary

Grant-Shannon Staffing seeks a Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist for a full-time, onsite role in White Bear Lake, MN. You will own day-to-day bookkeeping, including AP/AR, and provide backup payroll support using ADP.

Ideal candidates have strong QuickBooks Enterprise experience, Excel proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a small manufacturing environment. Light front-office duties apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise desktop/on-premise.
• Experience handling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience coordinating with an outside CPA.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Independent worker comfortable taking ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Track capital equipment and inventory of production materials
• Reconcile AP invoices against packing lists and obtain approvals
• Prepare customer invoices for completed and shipped work
• Assist with quotations for new business opportunities
• Maintain and close out job files for completed projects
• Maintain accounting records and related documents
• Provide backup payroll support via ADP
• Coordinate with outside CPA and assist with financial documentation
• Perform light front-office tasks (phones, greeting visitors)
• Assist with other administrative and accounting projects
