Job summary

This role supports our third-party billing processes and includes follow-up on unpaid accounts to help ensure timely resolution. The Billing Clerk reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager and works collaboratively with the Cashier, Student Accounts team, and other campus departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in customer service, accounts receivable or billing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party billing cycle from invoice creation to payment posting and reconciliation.
• Coordinate billing for sponsors, agencies, and partners, including Dual Enrollment programs.
• Follow up on unpaid balances, initiate re-billing and refunds when appropriate.
• Communicate with payers via email, phone, portals, and in person; maintain records.
• Assist with monthly billing, holds, statements, and collections follow-up.
