Job summary

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions is seeking a Hospital Based Bilingual Patient Advocate to assist uninsured hospital patients with applying for financial assistance. This is a fully onsite role located at a hospital in Atlanta, GA, with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule 8 AM–5 PM.

You will guide patients through federal, state, and county programs, often at bedside, to help secure needed coverage. As a bilingual advocate, you will communicate in English and Spanish, coordinate with hospital staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, depending on client needs.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience with state and federal programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Screen uninsured patients bedside to determine eligibility for federal/state programs.
• Complete applications and follow through until approved.
• Document cases accurately in MPower and hospital systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Collaborate with hospital staff, case managers, and social workers.
