Job summary

Heritage Bank NW is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for our Bremerton, WA on-site banking call center. The role handles customer inquiries, processes a variety of financial requests, and learns bank products to recommend solutions.

The position is full-time with a typical schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and rotating Saturdays. Compensation includes a tiered hourly base pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of retail banking and/or bank operations experience with emphasis on customer service.
• Level II requires 2+ years in retail banking or service center environments with experience in online/electronic banking and account maintenance.
• Senior requires 3+ years call center experience with advanced technical skills in a financial services setting.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and cross-sell bank products.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers following Heritage Bank standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and respond to inquiries via telephone and in person.
• Research and resolve online service requests; escalate as needed to appropriate resources.
• Follow up on inquiries not immediately resolved and transfer calls to the right specialist.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
