Job summary

Heritage Bank’s Oak Harbor office is seeking a temporary Full-Time Customer Support Specialist for Sep 2026–Dec 2026. You will warmly greet callers, handle a variety of banking requests, and document interactions while learning the bank’s products and services.

This onsite role requires accuracy, integrity, and a customer-first approach. The position offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule, a base hourly salary of $20–$25, and eligibility for a 401(k) with company match, sick time, and employee

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to a year of recent retail banking/customer service experience required.
• Excellent English communication, listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
• Answer high-volume inbound calls and document call notes.
• Assist with a full range of customer service telephone activities; respond to inquiries and escalate as needed.
• Resolve online service requests through research and escalation.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services to refer customers.
• Ensure compliance with policies, confidentiality, and accuracy.
