Heritage Bank NW seeks a friendly Customer Support Specialist for a temporary banking call center role in Oak Harbor, WA. Responsibilities include greeting callers, handling financial requests, and maintaining knowledge of bank products to meet client needs.

The assignment runs September 2026 through December 2026, is fully onsite, with typical hours 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Compensation includes a base hourly wage plus 401(k) with match and sick time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of recent retail banking or bank operations experience.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and telephony software.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers per Heritage Bank standards.
• Answer high-volume inbound calls and document notes.
• Assist customers with a wide range of banking requests.
• Research and resolve online service inquiries or escalate as needed.
• Transfer calls and follow up on unresolved inquiries.
• Promote bank products based on customer needs.
