Job summary

Heritage Bank in Oak Harbor, WA, seeks a temporary Customer Support Specialist for the Banking Call Center. The assignment runs September 2026 through December 2026, onsite at the Oak Harbor office, with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., and a base hourly rate of $20.00 to $25.00. You will handle high-volume inbound calls, document call notes, resolve online service requests, and promote bank products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent - required.
• Minimum 6 months to a year of recent experience in retail banking and/or bank operations, with emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
• Excellent listening, verbal, written and telephone etiquette; ability to communicate in English well.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers; greet callers warmly.
• Handle high-volume inbound calls and document call notes.
• Resolve online service requests; escalate as needed to appropriate resource.
