Job summary

Heritage Bank’s Coupeville Branch is seeking a full-time bank teller to assist customers, process routine transactions, and support branch sales initiatives. The role is fully onsite in Coupeville, WA, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and coverage for training or absences as needed.

The position requires 6 months of customer service experience (or 1 year cash handling and customer service in financial services), a high school diploma, and comfort with office technology.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience required.
• 1 year recent cash handling and customer service experience in a financial services environment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and learn new technologies quickly.
• DNA or Fiserv software knowledge preferred; Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs routine paying / receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer in accordance with assigned Authority limits.
• Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Actively participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Contributes to the success of the team by sharing in all branch administrative duties as required and assigned.
