Job summary

Heritage Bank in Longview, WA, is seeking a part-time bank teller to deliver exceptional customer service, handle routine financial transactions, and support branch sales efforts. The role is onsite with a flexible schedule to cover training or absences, typically 12:00 p.m.

to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position offers competitive hourly wages with Level I and Level II ranges, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience - required.
• 1 year recent cash handling and customer service experience in financial services - required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• DNA or Fiserv knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships and provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs routine paying / receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer within authority limits.
• Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Shares in branch administrative duties as required.
