Job summary

Heritage Bank NW seeks a full-time Teller at the Coupeville, WA branch to serve customers, process routine transactions, maintain a cash drawer, and support branch sales efforts.

The role requires 6 months of customer service (Level I) or 1 year in cash handling (Level II); a high school diploma; strong computer skills; and familiarity with banking software (DNA or Fiserv) is a plus. A team-based environment with competitive pay awaits.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience required.
• 1 year of recent cash handling and customer service in financial services required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and learn new technologies quickly.
• DNA or Fiserv knowledge preferred; Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) awareness preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers and provides exceptional service.
• Performs routine paying/receiving duties and maintains a cash drawer within authority limits.
• Promotes bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in branch marketing and sales promotions; supports team tasks.
