Job summary
TRITECH Communications Inc. in the Boston area is seeking an Audio Visual Break-Fix Technician to support on-site client environments, troubleshoot advanced AV systems and deliver rapid resolutions.
You will work with Netgear/Cisco/Luxul networks, Crestron/AMX/Extron control systems, and Biamp/QSC/Symetrix DSPs, coordinate with the NY HQ team, and document all resolutions in the service ticketing system. A valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills are required; CTS/DMCE
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and servicing professionally integrated AV systems.
- Ability to work with networked AV equipment and control systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
- Certification in CTS or Crestron DMCE is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to troubleshoot issues, repair equipment, and provide next step resolutions for all audio-visual equipment.
- Coordinate scheduling with Service Coordination team based out of New York HQ.
- Enter job time entries, job and resolution notes, closeout information, and in-depth reports to manufacturers, service administrators, and customers.
- Contact and maintain relationships with manufacturers, programmers and project managers for RMAs, program changes and project information.
- Serve as escalation point for previously diagnosed but unresolved issues.
- Transport and deliver audiovisual equipment and packages from TRITECH warehouse to various job sites and vice versa
